LAS VEGAS - Mark your calendar for Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the 8 News NOW Super Recycling Day presented by Subaru of Las Vegas. The eighth annual event is once again being held at the Thomas & Mack Parking lot.
Don't know what to do with your old electronics like TV's or computers? Do you have car or vehicle batteries lying around? Or do you simply need documents shredded or even unexpired or unused medicine you do not know what to do with?
Join 8 News NOW, for our 8th annual Super Saturday Recycling event presented by Subaru of Las Vegas.
Recycle your electronics and documents safely and responsibly; anything that can be plugged in or takes batteries will be accepted. Plus, Sherry Swensk and the 8 News NOW Morning Team and Evening Team will be stopping by to say hello.
The recycling event will be held in the parking lot of the Thomas & Mack Center off of Swenson and Tropicana Ave.
Don't miss this chance to recycle all your old electronics, documents, household goods, medicine in a safe, secure and environmentally friendly manner.
We cannot accept paint, oil, hazardous material, big screen or tube style TV's or any type of mattress. All items can be taken to Republic Services Facility Address: 315 West Cheyenne Avenue, North Las Vegas, NV 89030

In addition, Goodwill of Southern Nevada will be collecting:
Clean out your medicine cabinet as Care Coalition will be collecting unused or expired medication.
Republic Services will be accepting commingled recyclables.
New and gently used CHILDREN books will be collected by Spread the Word Nevada.
Finally, up to four boxes, or bags, of documents can be shredded for free, courtesy of
Shred-It.
